BORN 2005, 2006, 2007
Carrier is ARMADA's top level competitive program. This program is primarily for athletes committed to taking their game to the next level. Exceptions can be made for athletes who do not wish to continue on with 16U TeamSask, yet still want to train with their peers and compete at WPS provincial events.
Carrier athletes practice for seven and a half hours a week. They practice at the Lawson with our Elite athletes on Monday (girls) and on Wednesday (boys) and with our Battleship athletes on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. In WPS provincial events, they play in their appropriate age division, plus up one age division. For example, an athlete born in 2006 would play in all Bantam (14U) and Cadet (16U) events.
14U NCL is mandatory for all eligible athletes (born 2006 & 2007). It's purpose is to introduce players to the NCL format and have every player participate. Athletes travel outside of Saskatchewan for western NCL events. Families are responsible for their own travel arrangements. A block of hotel rooms will be reserved in host cities for ARMADA athletes & families.
In the past, the 14U NCL fee has been collected in December. We acknowledge this was not the best time of year to be asking for an additional payment, so it is now included in your registration fee. As a club suit & shirt are required, their cost is also included in your registration fee. Should, for some unforeseen reason, 14U NCL not take place during the 2019/20 season, you will receive a refund at the end of the season. Refunds will also be given to any Carrier athlete not eligible for 14U NCL (born 2005).
*Under our previous programming, 2005 athletes would be considered 16U and 2006 & 2007 athletes would be considered 14U.
