FAQS PLEASE READ!!!

1. Registrants must go to the registration page and create a profile for themselves and/or their children. Once this has been completed, they will be able to login to their profile and complete their registration. 
2. Participant Registration is where you go to sign you or your children up for the various programs. 
3. One adult from each family must register as a Minor Official under the Officials Tab. 
   • Sign up for that first and receive a discount towards participant registration (check your success message for a PROMO code)
   • Training for new Minor Officials will be offered early in the season
4. You will see fees from Water Polo Saskatchewan (WPS) and Water Polo Canada (WPC) that cover registrant insurance for the entire year.

NEW Registration Categories/Membership Levels

 

Water Polo Canada has changed the Registration Categories (Membership Levels) to simplify the registration process and minimize upgrades needed throughout the season, amongst other reasons. The 2024-2025 levels are as follows:

Registrant Category	WPC Fee	WPS Fee	Total	Description
Free Trial Member	$0.00	$0.00	$0.00	This registrant category is intended for individuals interested in trying water polo for the first time. These individuals will be covered under WPC’s insurance policy on a one-time basis for a maximum of fourteen (14) consecutive days from the first day they enter the water (i.e., If an individual starts their free trial on September 1, 2024, their trial will end September 15, 2024). An individual can only complete a free trial once. Therefore, an individual who has previously completed a free trial may not complete an additional trial, regardless of whether it is with a different water polo club.
Short-Term Member	$0.00	$0.00	$0.00	This registrant category is intended for individuals attending bring a friend/parent to practices/activities. These individuals will be covered under WPC’s insurance policy once per season. Short Term Members CANNOT compete in any level of competition. This is not inclusive of scrimmages.
Make a Splash (23-24 equivalent is Introduction)	$13.00	$16.00	$29.00	This registrant category is intended for individuals new to the sport of water polo OR who participate in non- competitive*, year-round water polo programming targeting the development of basic water polo skills. Make a Splash Registrants CANNOT compete in any level of competition. This is not inclusive of scrimmages OR intracity games.
Water Polo for Life (23-24 equivalent is both Community and Provincial)	$35.00	$30.00	$65.00	This registrant category is intended for youth and adult Registrants and their coaches, who train and/or compete year-round in various non-Water Polo Canada sanctioned activities, programs and events. This registrant category also targets officials who referee at community/regional and/or provincial level events.
Perform in Water Polo (23-24 equivalent is Competitive)	$75.00	$50.00	$125	This registrant category is intended for High-Performance Registrants** and their coaches, who train and/or compete year-round in various domestic and international activities, programs and events including those sanctioned by Water Polo Canada (i.e., National Championship League, National Provincial Championships, Provincial National Training Centres/Regional Development Centres, World Aquatics Masters Championships, etc.). This registrant category also targets officials who referee at national and/or international level events.
