Our Elite training group is ARMADA's high performance program. It is for highly competitive athletes dedicated to excellence in the sport. Commitment to practices, competitions and the team are essential at this level.

Emphasis is placed on developing and perfecting the advanced skills, while preparing the athlete to reach their goals, weather they be for post-secondary education, national teams or excelling in their sport. In parallel, the basic skills are maintained and refined, and development of the specific and positional skills is emphasized. Players enrolled in this program are expected to attend all practices, participate in all tournaments, and could represent Team Sask. at National Championship League (NCL) events.

In the first part of the season we will begin with a focus on the athlete’s Strength & Conditioning and Individual Water Polo Skills. In the second part of the season the emphasis is on Team Tactics and learning Offensive and Defensive strategies in order to perform as a team.

The 16U and 18U program is designed to have players competing at a high level on a regular basis for a longer period of time in intense meaningful games within Canada and internationally. The season plan will be designed specifically to meet the goals of our athletes.

Elite athletes could play with Team Sask. in the National Championship League (NCL). Please visit the WPS website https://wpsask.ca/content/high-performance-centers for details in registering for:
