We love this game & want to share it with you! What's stopping you from getting in the pool with us?
'I'm not a strong swimmer' isn't a good enough excuse! Our new Schooner program is offering three levels of fun - Walking Polo, Belt Polo (yes, adults can wear floaty belts too), and Regular Polo for the more confident and experienced out there.
WHAT TO KNOW
Rec League combines swimming with water polo skills and game play. It allows participants to have fun while promoting fitness, friendship and teamwork. Participants do not need strong swimming skills or even previous knowledge of the game! This is a great opportunity for parents with children who play to get more familiar with the game and gain an appreciation for what their children do in the water. Focus will be on building confidence in the water, acquiring water polo skills and learning the rules of the game through scrimmage play.
This is a great opportunity for former lifeguards, speed swimmers, synchro swimmers or triathletes to get back in the pool or layer on another aquatic sport. The program encourages fitness, skill development and a little friendly competition.
NEW - Rec League swims Saturday evenings at the University of Regina. Three age groups make this an excellent family opportunity so all can participate and be active together!
These players are eligible to register in the Recreational Games Night. Players can sign up in the correct age group for additional opportunities to play water polo games:
