Our Semi-Competitive co-ed recreational program is designed for athletes who wish to try water polo or can't make a commitment to the high-performance program. The recreational program offers 2 practices per week which include swim instruction, fun water polo drills and scrimmages.
This program is a great opportunity for children to improve both their swimming skills and their game sense. It is ideal for children who have completed swimming lessons, but are not yet old enough to continue with lifesaving or life guarding classes. Your child will get the additional benefit of learning to be part of a team too!
In WPS provincial events, they play in their appropriate age division only. Semi-competitive athletes are not eligible to participate in Water Polo Sask’s development centre (DC) and are therefore unable to be eligible for TeamSask.
