Our Semi-Competitive co-ed recreational program is designed for athletes who wish to move forward from ILWP. The recreational program offers 2 practices per week and includes increased swim instruction, water polo drills and FUN scrimmages.
This program is a great opportunity for children to improve both their swimming skills and their game sense. It is ideal for children who have completed swimming lessons and the ILWP program, but are not yet old enough to continue with lifesaving or life guarding classes. Your child will get the additional benefit of learning to be part of a team and game strategies can be applied to other sports such as soccer, basketball and hockey.
NEW - These players are eligible to register in the Recreational Games Night. Players can sign up in the correct age group for additional opportunities to play water polo games:
- Destroyers - Saturdays from 7:15-7:55pm - Ages 8-10
- Tankers - Saturdays from 8:00-8:40pm - Ages 11-15
- Schooners - Saturdays from 8:45-9:30pm - Ages 16+
For Water Polo Saskatchewan (WPS) events, players are entered in their appropriate age division only.
Water Polo Canada (WPC) has changed the age categories for the current season. They are: 9U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U, Open and Senior.
